We usually start with 2-3 hours
trolling for species such as yellow tail kingfish, bonito, salmon and
tailor around the mouth of the bay.
Followed by drifting for flathead,
occasionally picking up sharks, gurnard, or what ever is there.
Finish off with a couple of hours
jigging for squid.
When caught these fish put up a good fight on light tackle and cooked
properly far exceed shop bought calamari rings for flavour and
tenderness you may even be
surprised how intelligent they are.
